He had called on Mr John Dalgleish to settle some business; and was standing beside him while he wrote a cheque, when he suddenly staggered and died immediately. _, , _ February, 2. Edward Sutfcon, of 'Drummond, -one.ofa family of tvelUktiown. farmers in this, district, was found dead, this' morning under circumstances indicating that he had commit led saicide- V Chkistchubch, February 2 Two lads named Samuel Mafdon and James Evans, aged 20 and 13 respectively were drowned to day through a canoe cnpsizingin the dam at Mardon's flax, mill, Upper R^ca> ton. Kustene Frawley, aj?ed 40, lately a bar* man at Barrett's Hotel, met with a serV ious accident. When removing the blinkers from a horse in a dray to feed him, at noon to-day, the horse bolted knocked Frawley down, trod on his chest* : and the wheel of the dray also went over him. breaking several ribs and completely crushing his lungs. •
