FOXTON SU MMER MEETING.
The Foxton Jockey Club held their
Summer Meeting on Thursday last. The fields were large and the finishes close. The sum of £2094 was put through the . totilisator during the day. The Feilding . Brass Band enlivened the proceedings. .Following are the results : — Flying Stakes. — Pyranius, 1 ; La Petite • Fille, 2 ; Josephine, 3. Dividend, £3 13s. Handicap Hurdles. — Cruiser, 1 ; Eere, 2 ; Matchless, 3. Dividend, £2 6s. Hack Hurdles.—Ridge, 1 ; Songster, 2; Beacon, 3. Dividend, £3 13s. - Foxton Eacing Club Handicap, — Cruiser. 1 ; Morchu, 2 ; Pyrauius, 3. Dividend, £3 14s. Hack Flat. — Wairua, 1 ; Nevermiss, 2; Miss Mclvor, 3. Stewards' Stakes.— La Petite Fille, 1; Josephine, 2 ; Amina, 3. Flying Hack' Eace. — Omaha, 1 ; Eoulette,2; Sweet Dream, 3. • The following acceptances have been received for the Duuedin Cup. — Crackshofe, Hilda, 'Occident, ''■Freedom, Wolverine, Crutctifield, Prime Warden, Eepns sal, Patchwork.
