Feilding School Committee
A meeting of the Feflding State School Committee was held on January 21st. Present— Messrs Lethbridge (Chairman), Watts, Worsfold, Gould and JEicks. v *v-v_ The minutes of the previous meeting • were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read from the Board, declining to make the addit ions -to the residence as asked for. r Eesolved r That the Chairman apply to the Board to cover the boys' lobbies with iron. The Chairman stated that the proceeds of the entertainment given' by Mrs Duncan were 18s. Resolved, That a hearty vote of thanks be forwarded to Mrs Duncan for getting up the entertainment towards paying for the playground. - . Eesolved, That a hearty vote of thankski^ be sent to Mr 8., J. Gosling for his services at the entertainment. Eesolved, That a special meeting be held on Wednesday the 4th of February, to consider the question of raising the school attendance. ■ .
