The Chilian Rebellion

(pee press association.) Valparaiso, January 21. The rebellion in Chili is spreading. The French aud American squadrons have been despatched to protect the interests of citizens of those countries. It is hoped that the British squadron will remain neutral. The insurgents are now blockading Valparaiso. January 23. The gun shops in Valparaiso have been backed by the mob. Foreigners are safe. It is believed the whole of the army will join the insurgents if the President fails to resign. London, January 19. The South Pacific Squadron has been ordered to Chilian waters to protect British interests in Chili.
