DAILY, MAIL DELIVERY. , ,
TO THE EDITOR OF THK STAR. Sir,— l was- pleased to, see in a recent Lasue of your journal that you advocated, a daily delivery of letters in the town of Feilding. I cordially igree* with you, as I thiifk when the leighboring towns of Marton and Paiuerston have a daily mail delivery that t in high time the Feilding residents ihould be granted a similar privilege. I jhonld think a daily delivery, -after the irrival of the Wellington train, round the 3quare ani on parts of Manchester ;treet and Kimboltou road, would prove a ?reat boon to the residencs and business people in those portions of the town. If she fy[ayor r and Borough Council took the matter in hand,- and made proper representations to the postal authorities, I have ao doubt Feilding would, before long, have i daily mail delivery. Hoping your suggestion will be carried out. — I am, &c, Eesident.
