Fashionable Wedding
There was a very large gathering at All Saints' Church, PaJmerston, ou Saturday, on " the occasion of the m image of Miss Harrietts May, daughter of Mr James Bell, of Kair anga, to Mr "John Kobert Buller Tripe,- 1 of Palmerston North, eid^st ' son of Dr" William Borrowdale Tripe, of Wellington. The church had been beautifully decorated for the occasion with flowers and" cv- rgrean«- t which lent 'an ' addition! 1 char.n t> ~ the beautiful cost irnes' of the fair sex. There were six bridesmaids, Miss , Tripe (sister of the bridegroom). Miss "Wigney, of Chiistcl uch, (cousin of the "bridegroom), Miss Clapperton, and Misses Lillie, Hilda, and Gwendoline Bell (sisters of (he bride), «_ Mr W. A Tripe acting as best man. The Rev. . H. B. Harvey was the officiating clergyman. The happy couple left en route to Wellington and Nelson, where they will spend their honeymoon, and we wish them a long and^ happy life.' ' -The* wedding presents formed a magnificent display, and numbered over seventy. — Standard.
