FBEEMAN E. JACKSON & CO.' STOCK BJiPOBT. Johnsonville, December 31. Cattle were yarded in average supply, containing a good selection of quality, in steers varying from light to moderate weights. Although the entry was not in excess of requirements the tone of the market was easier, and prices 1 5s per head under recent sales. Sheep in fewer num bers were well competed for ; no lambs or pigs forward. Bullocks, £6 5s to £4 15s ; light eteers, £4 10a to £o ; sheep, half-bred wethers, 11s 4d ; maiden ewes, fat, 10s sd ; old merino ewes, 6s. Ox beef, 13s the lOOlbs mutton a shade over 2d per lb.
