L )NPON, D cetnber 16. Mr Par noil has obtained an injunction against Mr Justin McCarthy with respect to tie United Ireland newspaper. Mr Parneli's name has heon struck off the roll of the Edinburgh burgesses. Mr Parnell's cause is waning in XiX kenny. December 17. Messrs Davitt and Parm-Il met at Ballinakill. Their adherents fought furiously, and Davitt himself took part in the emeute. leading the charge ri^ht no to the ear on which Parnell was stationed. Dnvitt shouted defiance at his former nhipf. While speaking nffrerward«* fit Cnsrlrrnmrr i bug of lime wns thrown at Parucll and another at Harrington. Pnrnpll will bo disabled for llie rest of the election, but it is hoped his sight will by prosei-rod.
