Wellington Land Board
At the meeting of the Land Board on Thursday there were present — Messrs J. W.A. M archant (Chief Commissioner), W A. Fitzherbert, W. W. McCardle, and D. H. Macarthur, M H.R. The Board dedided to refuse the following applications for transfers-Section 19, Block XVI., Ongo, R McDougall to Graham and Armstrong.. The Board resolved to give H Axup, of small run No 46, Blocks 111. and VII.. Pohangina, until the end of the year to complete the improvement. It was also resolved that the section in the Wanganui Harbour Board Endowment Block, withdrawn some time i ago, should be offered for sale by cash at Feilding at a date to be fixed by the Commissioner. F Janett was given permission to reside off his village homestead section at Mangaone, owing to ill healtb.
