LP"IB UNITKD PBKBB ASSOCIATION..' London, November 25. The medical gentlemen appointed by the Australian Governments to enquire into Dr Koch's consumption cure express doubts as to its efficacy. November 26. Professor H. B. Allen, who has been deputed by the Victorian Government to investigate Koch's cure for consumption has wired to the doctor to supply a quantity of lymph to Victoria, aud that he will visit Berlin later on, .Professor Allen sails for Melbourne about the middle of January. „ Professor Anderson Stuart will also make a study of the cure on behalf of the New South Wales, South Australian and New Zealand Governments. Berlin, November 27. _ Dr Koch is indignant at certain medical men "extorting money from consumptive patients on pretbnoe of possessing his secret. Dr Koch has deferred the leotura he has- arranged, to give on his discovery. The German Government will shortly undertake the preparation and distribution of lymph. . , .... • . Brisbane, Tins Day. The Chief Inspector ofstoek for Queensland is of opinion that Dr Kochs discovery may prove a valuable remedy for tuberculosis in oattle.
