Feilding R.M. Court
This Day. (Before Messrs Sherwill and Kirton, J.P.s) ASSAULT. Daniel Fabling was charged by Jane Deans Fabling with assault on the 25th instant. Accused pleaded guiloy. The complainant was much bruised and marked about the face, but complained most of the injuries to her private parts. She had been kicked and struck with his fists. Dr Monckton deposed he had examined complainant, he described the injuries, which were very brutal, all over her bod}'. It was a question in his mind whether he would send her to the hospital. Since he saw her yesterday she had received another blow in the eye. Had told her to refer the matter to the police to investigate ; The lower part of the abdomen was feartully bruised. In answer to the bench accused Baid he was not married to this woman ; was not living with another woman. Fined £1.0 or 2 months hard labor. Fine to be paid in one week,
