Sir, — Eeferring to yonr footnote to Mr Macarthur's reply to the Knights of Labor's political platform, published in your journal on Tuesday last, viz. : "The ! plank ' That the sale of Crown Lands and the wholesale trade in Native Lands shall cease' was not submitted to Mr Macarthur," allow me to explain that the omission was a pure inadvertence on my part, and I did not notice it till I saw the replies in print.
