Phrenological Lecture
. . Mr Cameron Me Alpine, gave a lecture lastgnight in the Assembly Rooms on " Heads." There was a eood attend" nee, and the lecturer was listened to with great interest throughout, and he caueci considerable amusement even while he imparted instruction. Previous to the commencement of bis discourse Mr McAlpine, who has a powerful baritone voice, sang a couple of bodies in excellent style. At the close of his lecture about a dozen persons went up to hare their heads "re d, M and much laughter was produced by the lecture 's description of some of the "subjects" who were veil known to the audience. Mr Me ilpine announced, that he would lecture on -Sunday afternoon next to men only on " feocinl Impurity."
