Bussell, the Government astronomer, claims to have discovered by means of photography a new universe in the Magellan clouds. A report sent into the: House of Assembly by the select committee appointed to consider the Medical Bill, shows that quackery was rampant in New South Wales. Melbourne, November 6. Parliament has adjourned until December 2 to enable members of the new cabinet to present themselves befere their constituents for re-election. The revenue for October shows a decrease of £60,000 as compared with the amount collected in the corresponding month last year. At the Intercolonial Conference of yachtsmen it was decided to establish an Australian champion yacht race. Hobabt, This Day.
