The colonists' farewell banquet to Lord Carrington took place to-night* there being a brilliant assemblage, including, the Governors of Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. In the House of Assembly on Monday evening last, Mr Dibbs, in moving a vote of censure on the Government for postponing the declaration of their fiscal policy, severely attacked the action of the Government in respect to the labour difficulty. The Premier, who replied to Mr Dibbs. was frequently interrupted by Mr Taylor, the new member for West Sydney, and the Speaker ordered that the latter be arrested and suspended from resuming his seat during the present sesaion.
