Pugilism
[PER UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION. ] London, September 22. Slavin and McAuliffe, who arranged a fight at the Ormonde Club for a purse of £1000, have been arrested in order to prevent the fight taking place. This arrest has caused a great sensation among sporting men and members of the Club. . liater. Slavin and McAuliffe have been bailed out on securities amounting to tor appear to-morrow. If they attempt to fight the police will surround the Club.
