By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright [per united. press association. l I. Sydney, September 18. | The steamer Namoi, which is laid up in the harbour, was discovered on fire this morning. The flames were^not extinguished before the saloon was burnt, out. The damage is estimated at £3000. The origin of the fire is at present unknown. Melbottbne, September 18. The man Turner, who was arrested and' subsequently committed for trial for the murder of Mrs Jubb, with whom he boarded, has .been acquitted at the Supreme Court.
