Whimberel out out. the running from the start, and was first into the straight, with the othera> close up. A desperate race then ensued, resulting in a head victory for Gibraltar from Gatling, who was a neck in front of Whimberel, Titan olose up fourth. Time, 2min 39see. Epsom Handicap, 1 mile— Bungebah, 7-10, 1 ; Megaphone, 8-4, 2; Amina, 7-6, 8. Time, lmin 40sec. \ Spring STAKBSi If miles— Carbine, 1 ; Melos, 2 ; Sir William and Qrerford, dead heat, 8.
