Brother Kitt says : — "I returned from Brighton last 'week and r immediately an - interview with Colonel Shadwell ' CJarke, Grand Secretary of Eagland, to -ascertain his views re new Grand Lodge. : He was very afEable • and : "pleasant^ and' said that he had "been duly advised of the progress of fbripation of the New Zealand vGiand Lp^ge,.. and supplied with the various papers, and that he ex-pects-the question will be brought '. before iheiGrand ; Lodge in September v "when I hope ;t6 be present. Amongst '•other : importaut matters he stated that >re rule 219, English Constitution, "that'it has been ./definitely settled, that '>":fbr .three members to hold tne war'raht, it is not iv any way intended to" apply to a majority joining a new - constitution.
