UNION AMONG EMPLOYERS.
Wki,i.twgton. Th rs Day. A largely attended meeting of mer* chants and employers of labour was held Jast night. It was resolved to form an association in the interests of the employers of labour in all matters affecting their common interests. The project was warmly taken up by those present, it being felt the time had arrived when someaction should be taken for the amicable adjustment of all differences between em<-~-ployer and employed. It was decided the association be- non-political and to solicittha co-operation of merchants and employers throughout the colony. An executive committee was formed to carry out the objects, consisting of Messrs Blair, . Levin and ten others.
