A T PA PI) KIMBOLTON ROAD, FEJLDING. REID AND GEAY'S Double Furrow Ploughs, AT.SO. THEIR "^ CHILLED DIGGING PLOUGHS, With reversible Points, Wbich, if desired, can be made convertible into ordinary Double Furrows. THE BEST Itf THE MARKET, And much lighter in draught than those of other makers Rkip & Gray 80th June, 1890. In repl}' to .your m< mo. of 27th inst., asking my opinion of the work done by your digging Plough at the Digging Plough Trial, held here on Tuesday last, I must say I was agreeably surprised to see your Converted ' 'igger do such splendid w.">rk, considering the dry stale of the ground, and the tough eouch*grass it had to work in — the latter it buried completely out of sight and left the furrows thoroughly broken up into a fine tilth. There was no doubt in my mind or any of the farmers present that it did superior work to either or the other three diggers on the ground, | and the draught did not appear to be any heavier on the horses. You are confer, ing a great boon on farmers by making their old double furrow ploughs convertible into Diggers at such a reasonable cost. — YY>urs &a. (Signed) John Macphrrsojt, Manager for N.Z. & A. Laud Co., Totara Estate. To 7?ett> and Gray Papakaio, May 30, 1890. I haye much pleasure in informing you the two Digging Ploughs have given me great satisfaction. They break up the gr und so well that very little harrowing is required. lam working them with four horses each, anc' doing four acres per day with each plough. lam going to sow with the drill, and am eonsiderim whether I will harrow any before sowing, as the ground is so well pulverised already. If Ido it will be only one turn of the harrows. My men soy that they make a much, better job, and do not leave the furrows on edge in lea as the imported one does (Signed) Donald Boeeie.
