Hospital Board
, The Hospital Board held their usual monthly meeting immediately after the Charitable Aid Board had concluded its business, and in the same room. There were present — Messrs : Arkwright (chair), Liifiton, Smith, Parsons, Dr Monekton, Edvrards, and Grant. The minutes of the previous meeting w>re read and confirmed. Dr Connolly wrote requesting that Thomas Patrick be re-admitted to the Hospital. The secretary (Mr Ritchie) stated that Patrick had been almost constantly in the Hospital for the last 5 years and was amongst those patients lately discharged as suffering; from chronic diseases. He wa& alsoin receipt of a pension, which if care- - fully utilised would be sufficient tokeep him. After discussion it was resolved that Patrick could receive* medical treatment if he required it, but not to be a resident in the Hospital. Dr Monekton moved, That the Hos-- ' yital Board take the offices in Ridgway Street in conjunction with the Charitable Aid Board at per year.— Carried. The Board then adjourned.
