The Mangawhare Tragedy

I PEK UNITED PKESB ASSOCIATION. | Auckland, Auaust 6. Fnncke was brought np to-day at the Police Court at Dar^aville, and was committed for trial for the murder of Constuble McLeod. Prisoner was brought down and lodged in Mount Eden Gaol to await trial. It is stated that the widow of the murdered officer will be given a compassionate allowance of about three hundred pounds.
