A new frost-proot potato has, says the North Otago Timeß, been introduced tc the Colony. The potato will stand fron five to eight degrees of frost, and prod ucei from ten to fifteen tons per acre. This will probably depend on th< --fW' season. For instance, in a season suet as we have just experienced in the Oaman . tfistrrct, the new frost- proof potato conk not be expected to produce more than th< ordinary J>erwent.
