o Fancy dress carnival at the Bink on Tuesday, Additions are made to-day to Messrs Stevens and Gorton's sale on Tuesday at Awahuri. Mr Flyger, tailor, will be in town to take orders from Wednesday to Friday next week. Notice 19 given to-day of the transfer of section 40, Block 111, Apiti, from Joseph Wrightson to T. D. Wood. A notice appears elsewhere from the Official Assignee stating he intends to apply to be released from his office respecting certain estates. Tenders are invited by the Besident Engineer at Palmerston, Mr G. L. Cook, for station buildings. Further particulars are given m the advertisement. The Engineer of the Kiwitea Road Board, Mr Bray, invites tenders for public works particulars of which are detailed in the advertisement. The auuual general meeting of the Feilding Volunteer Fire Brigade will be held at Mr Bray's office on Monday the 14th inst., at 7.30 Jffia. A section in Eyre street, No. 478, near the Railway Station, is advertised for sale at a yery low figure. Intending purchasers are requested to apply at the Star office for the address of the owner.
