THE BOROUGH POUND.
TO THK EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, —l beg leave to ask through the columns of your valaable paper, if it is legal for the Borough Ranger to impound cattle through the late hours of night and early hours of morn. I mean in the darkness. If such is the case it is not legal, and a most cowardly act of the Borough Council to sanction. —l am, &c, G. T. H. Lyne.
