Heavy rain fell for the above races yesterday, and the course was very heavy. Trial Hurdles, If miles. — Argo, 10-3, 1; Spy, 9-10, 2; Tauraekaitai, 10-6, 3. Dividend, £7 6s. Napier Steeplechase, 3 miles. — Oeo, 9-8, 1 ; Sir Garnet, 10-0, 2 ; Auckland, 10-9, 3. Won comfortably. Time, 7min 35 4-sth sec. Dividend, £10 23. Handicap Hurdles. 2 miles. — Darnley, 10-0, 1 ; Oddfellow, 11-10, 2 ; Raven, 10-1, 3. Won easily. Dividend, £4 9s. Vision appropriated both the Winter and Bracelet Handicaps, and Argo won the Selling Hurdles.
