The Railway Trouble
THE DELEGATES VICTORIOUS. I PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Wellington, June 25. When the conference between the Comnissioners and the railway delegates "esumed this morning. Mr McKerrow said that after careful consideration the Commissioners agreed to accept the proposals of the delegates for 54 hours per veek (including concessions). It would se fully two years before the alterations lauld be brought completely into force, jut in the meantime the men would be jaid overtime after 54 hours. Of course ;here were a few exceptional cases which Hrould have to be treated according to '_ aierit;^but he felt sure the executive . would not appose this. Mr Hoban sinjerely thanked th 6 Commissioners, fc^r their decision.
