FREEMAN E. JACKSON & CO.S STOCK BEPOBT. We have held our usual sales during the past fortnight. The yards at Feilding and Palmerston were quite full. The bidding for cattle was, on the whole, good, and prices were well maintained. Sheep remain at last report's quotations. Our quotations are — Cattle — Feilding — 8-yr steers, £8 6/- ; 18-month steers, 35/- ; fat cows, £8 10/- ; young cattle, 8/- and 12/- Palmerston — 3-yr bullocks, .£3 2/6 to £& 10/- ; fat cows, £3 10/- to £4 ; store cows, 27/- to 81/. ; young cattle, 11/- to 20/Shebp — Feilding — Store wethers, 11/- ; ewes, 5/6 to 8/- j lambs, 5/1 to 7/- Palmerston — Young breeding ewes, up to 12/6; others, 7/- to 9/- ; old ewes, 8/6 to 6/- ; lambs, 6/- to 7/6 ; culls, 2/6. Pigs— Baconers, up to 42/-; porkers, 12/- to 18/- ; smaller pigs, 8/- to 8/-
