For New Zealand hemp there is no 8 demand, and 1400 bales were bought 8 in. B The wool list for the third series a has closed, and the total number of bales available is 400,000. At the 1 Antwerp sales 1000 bales were offered - but only half disposed of . Australian greasy sorts were five per cent and 2 scoured ten per cent below the prices * obtained at the close of last sales in 8 London. The value of the exports " for May have increased by two and a half millions, and the imports have f decreased by nearly one and half . million as compared with the cor- - responding month of last year.
