STEVENS. & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. Bulls, June 2. The stock which came forward at our Marion and Feilding stock sales last week far exceeded the numbers advertised, especially at Feilding. The attendance was not so good at usual at , Martou, but very large at Feilding. The stock at Marton sold well, but three pens of sheep not reaching the vendors' reserves were turned out unsold. At Feilding every head of both cattle and sheep were sold at satisfactory prices, and with one or two exceptions all under the hammer. We quote the following prices : — Cattle Marton : Empty cowf, 275 ; 2 year old steera, £•& '1% 6d ; fat ewes, £3 ; milkers in calf, £2 8s 6^ ; mixed yearlings, 21s. Feilding: Fat bullocks £4 78 to £4 11s; fat cows, £3 8s 6d ; 2-year- old steers. £2 7s 6d to £11; 2-j<arold mixed, 37s 6d ; yearling and 1 8- months-old steers, 255; mixed yearlings, 17«. Sheep — Marton: Fa f wethers, 10s; •good shorn lambs, 7s 9d ; woolly lambs, 6s 6d to 7s 3d ; shorn, 3s 9d to 6s 3d ; breeding ewes, 6s 6d ; old ewes, 4a 2d. Feilding : fat wethers, 128 9d to 13s 3d; forward wethers, 10s lOd ; young ewes in lamb, 10s 6d to 10a 9d ; fat sheep, lift Id; empty «w«s. 6s l()d to 98 Id ; ewes in lamb, &s to Us; woolly iambs, 7s 9d to 7a lid ; shorn lambs, 6s to 7s.
