The toast The Beferee and Umpires was drank with honors, to which Mr Chenne^and Mr Fowler, umpires, and MrG. H. Bfaywell, referee, replied. The health of Messrs Harris, Hesse, and Cavy, three devoted admirers of the game, was «nthu> :Siastically drank, and the two first named gentlemen duly acknowledged the compli- ■ ment. The toast of the Press, proposed by Mr Fowler, was acknowledged by Mr <3&rton who then proposed ' The Ladies, to which .Mr Ferry (the Masierton Baby) responded in a very pleasant speech.
