To-morrow's Events
By the early train sportsmen for the Wanganui- races will leave Feilding and, as these invariably prove; attractive, we expect to see a number avail themselves of this opportunity for. an outing. At4en o'clock the Manchester Bifles will parade at .the barracks, firom whence, headed by the Feilding. Band, they will be marched to the racecourse to assist at the Cavalry Tournament and to fire a. feu dejdiel ;At about two o'clock the local '"■■' * Footballers jiwill meet on the Oval to try conclusions with a chosen r teain from Mart on, --and as the* latter defeated Feilding on the last occasion they met on the same ground, a splendid game may be anticipated. .At Birmingham there will be sports and pastimes which will attract crowds from the surrounding settlements and there is every hope that, given' a , fine day, all pleasure seekers on this coast will "put in a good time."
