Kiwitea Road Board

A meeting oftheatove Board warheli to-day. Present— Messrs Taylor (chair- .'; man), Haythorne, Homer, Lucas, and Gv W. Fowles. Proposed by Mr Lucas, seconded by Mr Haythorne, That Mr Taylor be elected chairman for the current year. — Carried, In proposing this resolution Mr Lucas passed a'high compliment on the efficiencydisplayed by Mr Taylor: Mr Taylor said, in reply, thai he would * always dp his best for the Board, and hoped that the ooming year would be a* pleasant as the one just closed. Mr Taylor then resumed the chair.
