Feilding Hounds
I There in generally a small mustsr of the. above )ipundß at Sandon; but those who do turn up always nde&n buaiiiiess. This was the case yesterday whefi the hounds met at the' village. Mr, Edwards, our deputy master, and Mr Perrett, a Staunch supporter of the hunt, got us a very nica gallop over tas/lp vdyS^liantings country «i S one could- wish io ride over ;■' but unfortunately at the, start ( tw,o accid»ntß occurred, which I am glad to gay were not serious, but prevented the major-, ity of the field getting away with the' hounds, and up to the first check there were very iew wiih the] Hounds. : Oar drag sta rted near Mr Robert's house, across the farm, pn, through Messrs G..G; Hiirst's propertieß, into Mr J! Maa-ker-s^ crossing the road, near Mr Bailee's house, inhere a very needful 1 check 1 (to most' of us) took place. After a very enjoyable nip from our flasks, and, a: spell of ' abomt five minutes, away they I went a^Siin ' across v v RoberfrB 1 , H. and. '0. * Sanson's '"properties, nearly into Sandon. This, I think, was the beat run of the season; ft I am induty bound to mention the napes; ofthe'^rst flight — viz, Mr and Mrs Biddiford, Messrs A. Boss, | A. ißiffl, F. Roberts, and My&bs B. Ht»db.
