Feilding Hounds.

LAWN MEET AT MR MAC- : ARTHUR'S. Last Wednesday these hounds had a real good ; day's sport, the meet being at Mr Macai-tliur'B, whereabout 60 ladies and gentlemen were most hospitably entertained. The line our drag took was over a rather cramped country, and nearly all timber. Starting behind Mr Gregory's house, over a big stab fence, which seemed to puzzle most of the field, they went . across Messrs Belfit and Cummins' properties, crossing the road near Mr Allen's residence, over his property, and checking at the rear of Mr Cbpmbe's hoUse* Here our master, Mr , Laniee,,got'ia very nasty spill, "i)ut luckily got off with a. severe snaking and a few bruises. After a check of . ten minutes we started near the English Church, : through Mr Goodbehere's and on to Mr Lethbridge's going round the steeplechase course, and finishing at the saddling paddock. Thus ended an enjoy&ble day. I must not forget to thank the various gentlemen whose pioperlies we went over^-v I .must agftiJ, remind some of the members that they are much, too zealous, and will not give the hounds enough time at starting.
