STEVENS &, GORTON'S STOCK REPORT, Bulls, April 28. Our stock sales at Feilding and Sandon last week were well attended and good entries came forward at both sales, the .quality of the ifliock at Sandon being the better of the two; Sheep were in good demand, apd there was a slight improvement both in demand andjpricesof cattle. »yje sold nearly everything at Feilding and all the sheep at Sanson excepting two pens. We quote:-— Gattle.— Feilding; Fat cows, £8 6s to £Q 10s 6d ; springing heifers, ££ 15s to to £&%s 6d; bullocks, £B 4s; year and 18-month, mixed, 21s to 255. Sanson: Springing heifere, £2 to M ; 18-months, •30s; forward > heifers, £2 12s; 2-year steers, £% 2s; year and 18-months, mixed, 245. ' -■'''■' Sheep.— Feildin g: Fat wethers, 10s 7d, ewes in lamb, 6s 6d to 6s 9d ; woolly lambs, 5s 8d to*7s 6d; shorn, 4s *4d to 5b gd; empty ewes, 6s 6d. Sandon: wethers', ips 7d to 11s 4d; store wethers, 9s 6d ; &t ewes, 8s 2d ; breeding ewes 6s to 8s 8d ; empty ewes, 6s 2d to 7s 6d.
