J Auckland, April 24 The .Local Industries Committee of the Chamber of Commerce have under consideration the question of more fully utilising the fruit growing capabilities of this Colony, and intend to submit certain proposals on the subject to a meeting of fruit growers to he held on the 2nd of May. A block of land of 250 acres at Xc Aroha has been purchased under instructions from Mr Isaac Holden, an M.P. of Yorkshire.
