In spite of the very wet day a good many sheep and cattle came forward at our sale at Awahuri on Tuesday, and we sold everything excepting one pen of empty ewes, at ruling rates; if anything, at improved rates for cattle. Cattle.— Fat heifers, £3 3s; 3jear steers, £2 15s to £2 1 8s ; 2-year steers 365; 18-month steers, 80s. Sheep.— Wethers, 9s 3d to9s6d; fat ewes, 8s 6d ; 2 and 4-tooth breeding eweß, lOs 6d ; wether lambs,. 6s ; shorn, 3s lid to 5s Id. ,
