A meeting of the Committee of the Feilding Jockey Club was held last night at Mrs Oliver's Empire Hotel, Mr Walter Bailey presiding. It was resolved, that in future no nominations or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by the necessary amounts payable. No exceptions whatever will be made. Forty-eight nominations have been received for the . Canterbury Champagne Stakes, 1890.
