Mr Pry said that there would be a necessity for a tchool there shortly, although there were not euffi cient children to warrant it at present. Resolved to state that the number of children would not warrant the building of a school. , It was resolved that the next meeting be held on Tuesday, April 29th, at 7.30, a special meeting taking place at 2 o'clock the same day to allocate the building grant. . \_ The new school on the Ashurst Watershed Road was named the Hiwinui Sohool.
