Late Sporting
Owners of horses engaged in the Easter Meeting of the Feilding Jockey Club are reminded that the acceptances and general entries close to-night. ' ■ The Liverpool Grand National Steeplechase was won by Ilex, with Pan and M.P. in the places. The Two Thousand Guineas, which is likely to be the first race in which Mr J. White's three-yea.r-olds will sport silk in England, takes place on Wednesday, the 30th April. Surefpot and Le Nord, two of the Derby favorites, are engaged. The Derby is run on Wednesday, 4th June, and the stake is worth between 6000 and 7000 soys.
