If the Hon. John Brycp undertakes the reconstruction of the Ministry, Bussell arid Bichardson will disappear. Mr Carson will oppose Mr Ballance for tbe Wanganui seat. Mr John Stevens is still in India. - His name has been . mentioned as a possible candidate for -the Palmerston seat/but it is pretty well understood that Mr Stevens will not re-enter political life for some, time after his return to the colony.
