"We had a very large and successful -sale at Bulls this, week, a good many ♦cattlia and gust oil 11,000 sheep were yarded; Cattle^ 7 though prices were low, ! but better than of late, / were neatly all sbld under the hammer. v Th'e biddingfbr the sheep 'was spirited and, at and after the sale we were able t<f raispose of nearly all. The shieep yarded by^ Messrs Lethbridge & received attention, and for which there was' keen competition, resulting m the sale of all. We quote • the following prices : — CATTLB.-r-Three-year-old steers, £3 to ~£3 6s ; 2-year steers, £2 IDsr milkers, 4>3 j young mixed cattle, 13s tol4s6d. ;-1; . ; Sheep.— Forward wethers, 8s 9d to 9b I lid; Lethbridge & Son* Lincoln ewes, mixed ages, 6s 6d to 8a 1 Id ; 2-tooth ewes, <7s 6d j Bomney 2 to 4-ewes, «s 6d full-mouth ewes, 4s 9d to 6s Id. Mr Menlove's Lincoln rams areraged 3£ guineas, Mr L. 0. Bichards' 21s and Mr E. Read's cloae on one guinea.
