There was a good attendance of English. and Colonial buyere at the wool sale of the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at- Wellington, von Tueedav last--Competition dunng the sale was moder« > »tely brisk. About 300 bales were. (&&* logued, principally lambs'. A cpnßifler- ' «ble portion of the unsold lots were disposed -oi afterward privately.' Good greasy crossbred realised from 8d to BJd, ' medium 7d to Bd. Inferior sorts were neglected. . Large parcels of goodscoured lambs' sold from lOjd to UJd,' cleau, -weli-^pown greasy-,; 8A to 3 Jd ; medium* 7£ to 8d ; while logsstained and inferior parcels only realised 6Jd to 7d.
