He was last seen at 7 a.m. His. hat was since found in the river, and fears are entertained that he is drowned. He had been in a depressed state of mind lately. [Mr Johnston was formerly resident in Palmerston as manager of the Clothing Factory, and subsequently in business as a draper and clothier.}.
