Champion Stakes, 3 miles. — Melos, 1 ; Drednought, 2 ; Carbine, 3. Won by a length and a-half, Carbine half a length away. Carbine was blocked in the straight by Hales. Drednoueht waß, the favorite. Titan won the Juvenile Stakes, Pet Girl the Free Handicap, Prelude the Nursery Handicap.
