A Horrible Revenge
By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright. (per press association.) St. Pbtbhsbtteg. March 7. A parcel has been delivered at the Governor's office, Moscow, which, on being opened, was found to contain awoman's head. The parcel was accompanied by a letter, in which it was stated that this was only the first of a series of exploits, and it was the intention of the murderer to outdo in number and brutality the crimes perpetrated by " Jack the Eipper" in Whitechapel. The remainder of the woman's body was found in two sacks. Several arrests have been made in connection with the affair. It is believed that the victim had betrayed some of the Nihilists.
