Oddfellow's Lodge to-night. ' : Tenders for painting Mr Light's Denbigh Hotel close to-day. - Tenders are invited by. Mr E. B. Curtis for fifty chains of fencing. Mr Svendsen will have a consignment of new boots and shoes in a few days. Mrs George Evans advertises' that she has bran and pollard always on hand. Tenders are invited for erecting 60 chains of fencing. See our wanted column. Mr Carey, ot Taonui, wants grazing for 400 oheep. . The dates of Mr Tripe's next visits to the adiacent townships are published today. Train arrangements for. the Wanganui races to be held on the 6th and 7th inst. are published to-day. The first, entries for Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s sale at Feilding on the 13th instant are published to-day. Tenders are called for by Mr James Mackay, Kimboltou Road, for 150 chains of wire and 30 chains of stab fencing. Mrs "Walter Duncan advertises that she intends opening an elementary singing class for juveniles. Terms may be ascertained on application. Mrs Corkery advertises in another column that she has for sale ripe tomatoes in any quantity at 2£d per lb. Orders may be left at Mrs Corkery's boarding house. Eyre street;
