' Washington February 25. A courier reports that the town of Wickenburg, reported to have been washed away by the bursting of the dam at Preseott, is safe, but that forty persons have been drowned between the township and the daua. , The Prescott reservoir was swollen by rain It is probable the number of deaths will exceed 100.; The damage amounts to millions of dollars.
